FAQ: Unwanted Item Removal
Hazardous Material
If there are hazardous materials in scope of the clean up, please contact us as additional rates may apply. Please see the link here for items which may be considered to be hazardous.
Where do the items end up?
We aim to divert as much as possible from landfills. In most cases we will aim to deliver items to the nearest organization who can utilize them.
What if my load is larger or smaller than a full trailer?
We always recommend getting a free quote for our services. We appreciate however that this is not always possible. In cases when our estimate or quote is too high, we simply reduce the actual charge to match the nearest 1/4 trailer increment (see prices).
Do you offer cleaning services?
We offer limited cleaning as part of our removal service. While it is not as thorough as a proper maid service, we aim to leave the area ready to use whenever possible. Note: Our cleaning services use EcoFriendly products and the choice to use alternatives is left in the hands of each cleaning specialist.
Do you offer moving services?
We offer limited moving services. If you have a couple items, we may be able to assist. We have several partners who are professional movers, which we tend to refer most moves to. When in doubt just give us a call and if we can’t do it, we know someone who can!
What if I do not want my items diverted?
In cases when you do not want the items diverted please discuss with us prior to the appointment. There may be an additional charge depending on the circumstances.
We accept: credit/debit cards, cheques, Interac e-Transfer, Interac Online, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and, cash.
Can we partner with you for item drop off?
We are always looking for more partners to onboard in our goal to reduce landfill disposal. While we do have some criteria for our drop off locations to ensure they ethically align with our vision, we welcome all to contact us to discuss further.
